Verified Forms: anonymous, then verified

Verified Forms is a Joomla forms component built for the workflow where you want to accept submissions from anyone but verify the submitter is a real person at a real email address before you act on the data. Anonymous on submit, verified on confirmation. We use Verified Forms ourselves to run the Multizone Joomla updates registration that the rest of this campaign points readers to.

What Verified Forms does

The component is a forms-and-fields builder for Joomla with a verification step in the middle. A visitor submits the form; the data is stored in a pending state; the submitter receives a verification email at the address they gave; clicking the link in that email moves the submission to the verified state. The form output you act on is verified-only by default.

It works for any case where you want signal that the email address is real and the submitter at least intended to put it there: opt-in registration, contact forms with a follow-up commitment, gated downloads, RSVP. The verification step costs the visitor one click and an inbox check; it costs the site owner zero spam.

The anonymous-then-verified pattern

The pattern matters because it lets you ask only for what you need at the point of submission. The visitor does not have to register a Joomla account, log in, or hand over more data than they want to. The trade-off they make is the one-step verification, which is small and reversible. They can also walk away after the form and never click the link, in which case the submission is discarded; consent is implicit in completing the loop.

What the paid tiers add

The tier structure follows the pattern used across the Multizone catalogue: Trial, Standard, Premium and Enterprise.

Standard raises the numeric limits (ten forms, five hundred submissions a month, a hundred unique links per form, three domains) and adds CSV export of the unique links.

Premium raises them further (fifty forms, five thousand submissions, a thousand links, six domains) and adds Recipient Outreach: import a list of recipients and send them personalised outreach emails, each linking to a per-recipient verified form. It also adds custom branding on the forms and emails, and priority support.

Enterprise is unlimited across the board with premium support.
