You have an idea for a mobile app. You want to find out whether it works in the real world, without committing to a full production build before you know what users actually want. That is what a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) does: the smallest version of an app that lets you put your idea in front of real users and learn from what they do with it. MVP App is our service for getting one of those built and into the App Store and Google Play.

When MVP App is the right starting point

MVP App fits if you can recognise yourself in any of these:

  • You have a business idea that depends on a mobile app, and you want to test it cheaply before scaling up.
  • You are an established business launching into mobile for the first time, and you want a working pilot before committing capital to a full release.
  • You inherited a stalled internal app project and you need someone senior to take it the last mile and ship it.
  • You need a working app in the App Store and Google Play to show stakeholders, users, or investors, and you need it to look real, not like a prototype.

If you already have a live app and want it modernised at a fixed price, take a look at Advanced App instead.

What we do

MVP App is a day-rate consulting engagement. We sit alongside you, do the senior product and engineering work that decides whether an app ships or stalls, and we get something live in the App Store and on Google Play.

We are typically responsible for the parts of an MVP that go wrong:

  • Scoping the smallest version that genuinely proves the idea
  • Picking a stack that will not become a liability later (we use Flutter for most MVPs: one codebase, both stores, first-class performance)
  • Getting through the App Store and Google Play review process, including the policy curveballs that catch out first-time submitters
  • Setting up the analytics so you can actually tell whether the idea is working once real users arrive
  • Knowing when to stop adding features and ship

Why this works

500+ apps shipped

We have built and submitted apps across device testing, office collaboration, law enforcement, healthcare, education, and clubs and societies. We understand where the hidden complexities are.

100% approval rate

Every app we have submitted has been approved by Apple's App Store and by Google Play. First-time submitters often spend weeks bouncing between rejections; we do not.

UK-based, UK-delivered

Multizone Limited is a UK company; the work is done in the UK; data is held in UK regions where applicable. No timezone gap, no language gap.

Senior people, no juniors

An MVP is not a place to learn. The work is done by people who have shipped apps before, on a day-rate basis you can scale up or down as the project demands.

How an MVP App engagement runs

  1. Discovery call. Twenty minutes. We work out whether MVP App fits, or whether you need a different conversation.
  2. Scoping workshop. Half a day or a day. We pin down the smallest version of the app that proves your idea, and the success measure that will tell you whether it has.
  3. Build and ship. We work to that scope on a day-rate basis. Most MVPs reach the stores within four to ten weeks of starting.
  4. What happens next. When the MVP earns its keep and you decide to scale, the natural next step is Advanced App, where the work becomes fixed-price and a managed subscription takes over.

How we price MVP App

MVP App is priced at our day rate. The total depends on scope, and we will quote on a day basis after the scoping workshop, so you know the budget envelope before any production work starts.

If you would prefer a fixed price and a managed service from day one, you are looking at Advanced App instead. That is the productised offer, and it is a different shape of engagement.
