Multizone’s mobile applications run on a cloud based infrastructure or platform which has been awarded UK Government G-Cloud II supplier status. The applications are accessible from Smartphones which access services and information from this infrastructure and from other platforms on the Internet such as social media services. Customers are free from the burden of managing or controlling the underlying cloud infrastructure including network, servers, operating systems, storage, or even individual application capabilities, with the exception of end-user-specific smartphone application configuration settings and settings for social media services on the Internet. Our G-Cloud infrastructure is physically located in the UK.

Overview

Multizone’s G-Cloud service is designed for rapid adoption. The services help public sector organisations to create genuine, authoritative, day-to-day dialogue on social media about local issues and answer the question “what’s happening, right now” online.

The services are designed to increase confidence in the public sector organisation customer through its workforce by transparent and authentic, authoritative use of social media. By working with social media networks rather than against them, Multizone provides governance, authenticity, and timely local information guaranteed to raise the level of genuine engagement so critical to establishing a base of local authoritative influence.

The services amplify existing visible presence, by delivering genuine local timely information and leaving a digital record on social media explaining what activity has been taking place locally. Local communities can see the activity using branded public smartphone apps, or existing social media search tools resulting in increased two-way engagement between the public sector organisation customer and their local target community. Increased genuine engagement is proven to boost confidence in the organisation and its workforce.

Smartphone based apps are provided as part of the service and are designed for the provision of sincere authentic replies, without distraction or added overhead to the workload of busy people. The ease of use of these apps has resulted in high levels of technology adoption in existing customers, which is crucial in any deployment. The Smartphone apps are proven with difficult workloads such as those of police officers in the UK.

Multizone applications provided as part of the service are in part designed for private distribution to customer workforces and in part branded and customised for the individual customer via the G-Cloud platform for onward download by the public to their phones. The distribution mechanisms and software provisioning to individual handsets varies by customer requirement and mobile device Operating system.

SaaS services from Multizone are priced per user per month, with some minimum numbers of users, and for 12-month contract periods. SCS services from Multizone are priced per unit in hours, days or projects.

Multizone's "Workforce Online Social Engagement mobile app release delivery service" (rSCS) is a three month fixed cost, high impact programme intended to be the initial start point for our services for new customers. It comprises a mobile app release programme designed to end with an application set released to the workforce of the customer and to the public. It includes Workforce Online Social Engagement workshop services (wSCS), the creation of the Workforce Online Social Engagement workforce mobile app as a Service (wSaaS) for availability for private download, Workforce Online Social Engagement mobile app onboarding services (oSCS) and the creation of the Workforce Online Social Engagement branded mobile app as a Service (bSaaS) for publication for public download. G-Cloud Software as a Service pricing for the individual services begins after three months.

Multizone's "Workforce Online Social Engagement branded mobile app as a Service" (bSaaS) is a customer branded set of mobile applications for Android, iOS and BlackBerry provided as a service with information about the customer and its workforces activities including what’s happening right now provided from open data and social networks without the need to join or log in to anything although replying and engaging with our app content may require a login. Our apps deliver proven engagement to the majority of the community who have mobile phones - a much wider demographic than traditional engagement methods like meetings and circulars, and at a much lower cost. The apps are typically free to download from the mobile phone app stores and are advert free. Features include interaction, social data, open data feeds, maps, activity ratings and push notifications to end users interested in the activities of the customer organisation and itw workforce.

Mobile dashboard app as a Service (dSaaS)

Multizone's "Workforce Online Social Engagement workforce mobile dashboard app as a Service" (dSaaS) provides a view of workforce engagement. The app is customised for each deployment to allow managers or other stakeholders to see activity from social networks. Multizone apps use social media networks and open data, and do not require any special security. These apps for Android, iOS and BlackBerry tablet computers allow stakeholders to zero in on critical issues, workforce interventions, and outcomes and allow stakeholders to engage in dialogue about them online. Onboarding and Offboarding

Multizone expects initial procurements in new organisations to our services to be a project of “Workforce Online Social Engagement mobile app release delivery services” (rSCS), Multizone will undertake a three month programme of work to customize its Smartphone apps with the customers specific requirements as indicated as part of the order process. Multizone will provide professional services to perform Workforce Online Social Engagement workshop services (wSCS), and Workforce Online Social Engagement mobile app onboarding services to facilitate small group training of the workforce in the use of the technology. The apps will be issued to designated contacts in the customer for deployment to devices using the customers own distribution system.
